Focus Overview

A high level steering committee, nicknamed FOCUS was founded in December 2007 to oversee the direction and processes of the Foresight Linux project with input from the community. Focus is sometimes referred to as 'the council'.

The responsibilities of Focus include:

  • Maintaining the project Roadmap
  • Reviewing applications for membership and developer status of the project.
  • Overseeing all Foresight sub-teams
  • Handling any disputes within the the project

Initial members include:

  • Paul Cutler
  • António Meireles
  • Ken VanDine
  • Og Maciel (June 2009)
  • Mark Trompell (June 2009?)

Focus meetings

The Focus team meets every two weeks on Freenode IRC to discuss Foresight direction, approve members and developers, and recap action items related to the development of Foresight.
