Translations

This page is about translations of Foresight Linux to other languages than english. Localisation can be important for Foresight.

The texts should be translated in the most important languages (as mentioned below). I think every language should have one contact person who then can coordinate with others in his language.

Release work

On every release some things should get updated:

   1. Also in package media-template which is only used on install
2. The FAQ, package: foresight-documentation
3. package foresight-user-guide

Tools

If you want to translate gettext /.po files you can install "poedit" and "gtranslator"

sudo conary update poedit gtranslator

The .po files are used on the website and in many packages.
