Internet access is required to install additional software.
Foresight is also available on 1 DVD which includes all packages and supported languages.
Using your favorite CD Burning application, choose "Burn Image" and burn the image to a blank DVD-R or CD-R.
|The current FL installer is very outdated. It is recommended that you consult the Foresight Linux power user install HOWTO instead.|
Once you have burned an image of Foresight Linux, put it in your CD or DVD drive, and reboot your computer.
Hit enter when given the option to install Foresight Linux in graphical mode. The installer will walk you through formatting your hard drive and creating partitions, setting a root password, and timezone. All packages will be automatically installed. When finished installing packages, the installer will run post installation scripts, and this process can take up to 15 minutes.
At this point the CD will be ejected from the drive, and you will be prompted to reboot. You will then be asked to create a user and password before logging in.
